TASK 1. "TPACK AND ACAD" - ANALYST
Task 1: Eloy Riquelme Pineda
What was the best part of the activity?
I can say for sure that the best part of the activity was working with people who are dedicated and focused on the tasks at hand. Each member of the group has understood and respected their role and performed it creatively and effectively. We are working in that way because we trust in the work of the rest and it is a good way to be able to develop the work in a joint way as we all review each other’s parts in order to know at any time what is happening.
What was the worst?
The worst part of the activity was not being able to meet in class every day and make the best use of the class all together during the classes due to the fact that covid has affected some of the group members, making attendance impossible although trying to combine us as better as possible through the internet.
What was the best moment of the week (in the work of the group)?
The best part of the week was when we finally saw our work completely done in class and we saw our first two stars (Emilio and Lidia) exposing it to our classmates. It was such a good moment because of we felt satisfaction and we were so proud of us.
What was worse?
The worst part was that we didn’t know if we had to do the work written on a piece of cardboard or if we would have it printed. I had to ask a familiar if he could print us the work and he said yes but because I had covid we didn’t know if I would be okay in order to take it and bring it to the class on the exposition day. Finally we were lucky and we could do it perfectly.
What have you learnt?
We learnt so much about TPACK and ACAD, which will be so useful by the time we become teachers because they are some strategies that will help us to design a good class environment and create tasks that teach students how to resolve complex situations in the best and most efficient way. We also learnt some terms like “al alimon”, which means that the two people who were exposed didn’t talk too much to each one but that they did it in a dynamic way that was better for them and easier for the spectators.
What do you need to conserve -as a group for the next few weeks?
We definitely need to conserve the way we have been working as a team. We have known each other since we Strat university and we became good friends. What is important when working is in the middle because it is easier to say what is good and what is wrong better than if we didn’t know each other.
What do you need to improve -as a group for next week?
We have been working in a good way and we didn’t have any problems during the task. What I would change is to work in person but because of covid and because we each live far away it is most difficult to meet outside of university. We could meet at the university after classes but it is also difficult to coordinate because all of us have different things to do after classes and it's not quite easy to stay there too much time.
How THIS content is related to other contents in the course and your degree?
What we have been working on is a very good strategy that in the near future we will have to apply in our lesson's design. We can relationate it with educational planning, which is a course in which we have learnt some other strategies and ways to teach students in a dynamic and effectively way, apart from the curricular elements, which are connected with the TPACK and ACAD because we have to limit ourselves to those components and make it as the best way as possible.
