TASK 2. "LEMKE COMIC" - STAR

Our star of this week was Eloy, and he had to explain to the rest of the groups how we manage to develop the task and how we made the graphic story.

Here we attach the graphic story made by our group and the presentation that Eloy carried out to the rest of our classmates:

The graphic story about the potentialities of using ICT in the classroom:

HIEROGLYPHICS

The presentation carried out by Eloy:

"Good morning, my name is Eloy, and I am the star of the Potential Teachers' group. This
week we have done a comic that is inspired in hieroglyphics to reflect the
potentialities of education, which are visualization, the democratization of knowledge, and
participatory learning. To visualize what was in the text into an image, first, we have
read all the document and underlined the most important things about the potentialities of
education. Then we made some schemes to have the clearest information at the time
of making the comic.
From the very first moment, we thought that we have to make a comic with Egyptian
characters, but we realized that it was not hieroglyphics once we had the comic
finished. As we made a mistake in the formatting, we investigate how
hieroglyphics were made in the past and how we could reflect the story in that way. We
finally made it with Canva after knowing that Egyptian used symbols to communicate
with other people, so we adapt those symbols into text following the best possible
way they did it.
We really believe that comics promote memorization, oral or written expression. It
also can transform knowledge into other formats with the purpose of not getting them
bored and having fun when learning in that way. We hope you liked the comic and thank you very much for listening to me".
