TASK 4. ‘’KEY COMPETENCES’’ - Journalist
JOURNALIST:
Wednesday 16/02/2022:
We presented task number 3 which consisted of a slide-presentation about creating a wikipedia. Linda uploaded the new task and explained it. We chose the different roles, which were:
Noelia: facilitator
Sandra: curator
Lidia: star and translator
Emilio: analyst
SofÍa: star and translator
Eloy: journalist
After choosing the roles, we started reading the document that we must read to complete the task. Then we realized we had to do some activities that would be presented in class and our colleagues should do those activities.
Friday 18/02/2022:
On Friday we started thinking more seriously about the activity we had to create. We first had to look at the key competences and the objectives we had to follow in order to do the activity. Each of us chose some activities and then we put them in common and decided which ones were better for this task. We concluded that we would do something related to our country and some monuments with the purpose of knowing them better. For the first activity, that is creating a story map, we first created a story map template, but after investigating a little bit more, we found a web page which is the next one: https://storymaps.arcgis.com.
We created an account and we learned how to use it so that we can explain to our colleagues some tips to use it in a better way.
Saturday 19/02/2022:
On Saturday we decided to answer all the questions that were in the task. so we divided them and we all answered them taking into account that all the answers must be related to the specific activity that we were doing. After answering all of them, we continued thinking about the second activity to do, and we thought of preparing some post-its and bringing them to all the group members so that they have to write what they would improve in their classmates’ works and what they liked the most.
Sunday 20/02/2022:
On Sunday we try to decide the two other activities. We finally agreed that students must create a poster in canva in which they must promote and advertise the monuments they have chosen and put all of them in common in the poster. They can work all together in canva because many people can edit the document at the same time.

Tuesday 22/02/2022:
On Tuesday we had everything already finished, but we wanted to make a presentation to support our stars’ presentation, so we made it by canva. It consists of a slide-presentation in which all the tasks are explained step by step in order to complement it with lidia and sofia’s explanation. That presentation will also be uploaded to our blog. when everything was finished, each of us read all the work and we put some mistakes in common and we did the final retouch.
wednesday 23/02/2022:
Finally our presentation day!!!
We were so proud of our work and we knew that our colleagues would enjoy the task, and we were not wrong. They loved it! while our stars were doing the presentation, the rest of us were doing the activities from studybuddies grouop.
Another thing that caught our attention is coconut group’s blog, which link is https://sites.google.com/view/coconutgroup/homepage. We think it is so well organized and they have improved so much during the course, so we are also proud of them!.

What is your favorite part of the Task?
My favorite part of this task was when Lidia and I, who were the stars of this week, presented our complex activity to the group of "kids". It was a very fun experience and it has to do with what we will do in the future, so it was something very useful to repeat if we could.
Would you change something of the final result of Task4?
We would have liked the activity we created to have been more fun, but we tried to make it as digital and collaborative as possible. We spent a lot of time reflecting and reading all the activities to choose the ones we found most interesting.

In general, I think we have worked quite well and we have all worked as hard as we could, dividing the work equally.
Emilio:
What is your favorite part of the Task?
My favourite part of the activity was when we finally found out the four parts of the activity and finished all the activity. Seeing all the four parts in a hole activity was for me such a
relief.
Would you change something of the final result of Task 4?
I would have like to do a more dinamic activity, and not so rigid, but in order to adapt to the key compentences we had to give up a more fun activity.

We have kept working as a group just right as the previous weeks, that is, we have worked in complete synchrony and in a great working environment.

What is your favorite part of the Task?
My favourite part was when finished the different parts and they were all together. I really like the result
Would you change something of the final result of Task 4?
Maybe we could have add to the activity a part more dynamic, because it is true that when the pupils were doing it, it was a little slow.

From my point of view we continue working in a very good way when we are in group. We are so coordinated with each other and respectful too.
Sandra:
What is your favorite part of the Task?
My favorite part of the activity was doing the canva with the instructions for the task since I believe that the final result was very cute and I love it
Would you change something of the final result of Task 4?
I would change the “boring” part of the activity because maybe the students get bored with so much text in the activity

In this task as in the others I think we continue working very well, in this case we leave the things for the very end, but the next time we will prepared ir in avanced
Lidia:
What is your favorite part of the Task?
What I really liked of this task was being the star together with Sofia since we felt like real teacher and it was a very entertaining activity.
Would you change something about the final result of Task4?
I wouldn’t change anything of the final result because I liked it. But as an improvement, maybe if I had to repeat the assignment I would do more active and fun activities.

On the whole I like creating this task as well performing it. We, as a group, still work pretty well, organized and motivated
