What has been the most difficult criteria to assess? Why?

From our point of view, the most difficult criterias to assess are cognitive presence and teaching presence. The cognitive presence is hard to identify and reflect about cognitive knowledge, it also includes higher order thinking and as teachers we don't exactly know the previous knowledge of each student. 

About teaching presence, it has been difficult to assess because finding out if the tool 

was able to be customized or to extract any learning analysis from it was hard for us.  

What criteria or thing has surprised you the most?

What surprised us the most was the Technical criteria (Integration) because we have never heard about Learning Management System (LMS) so we have to investigate it, and we have never taken it into account for assessing anything. 

Another thing that surprised us was some vocabulary, for example, asynchronous and synchronous. As well as de accessibility, more specifically the accessibility standards. 

We also noticed that in the web page where we had to search the tools, we only found Whatsapp and Canva, and they don't have a very good score.

What is the most important criteria for you as a student?

From our point of view, the most important criteria for us as a student is accessibility, more concretely the required equipment because of the importance that the use of the tool doesn’t require equipment beyond what is typically available to students. It is important that the tool is accessible to the diversity of students that may be in a class and that the tool is easy to handle and accessible so that the work is productive and fast.

What is the most important criteria for you as a teacher?

For us, as teachers, the most important criteria is teaching presence because it is necessary as teachers to control and monitor the process of their work and give feedback to the students.

In addition, we think that privacy it's also very important because we are aware of the risks that the kids are exposed to and we want to protect their privacy so it is important to choose adequate tools.
